With conditional logic, a question appears only if it concerns the respondent and a page can skip another one: your forms and surveys stay short, and everyone sees only what matters to them.

An individual has no VAT number, a happy customer doesn’t need to explain what disappointed them. With the conditional logic of the form builder, you say when a question should appear, and the form rebuilds itself live as answers are given. Fewer unnecessary questions means fewer drop-offs and more accurate answers. Conditions work the same way in all your Mailpro forms and in your online surveys.

Show “Please specify” after “Other”, the delivery address when the box is checked, or “Why?” when the rating is low. A condition can apply to a single question or to a whole row of fields. For examples and best practices, read our guide to survey branching.
In a multi-page form, decide where the respondent goes after each page: to the page that concerns them, or straight to submission. A default page covers every other case. This is what’s known as branching logic; our FAQ explains how to set up branching in a survey.
Conditions are checked again on our servers on submission: a hidden question is never stored, and a required question only counts as required when it is shown. Your exports and form statistics contain only answers that make sense.
